About us

Registered 501©(3) NFP Organization

Who We Are
With the goal of making a difference for that one dog at a time, Foster 2 Home has, in just a short time, rescued nearly 900 dogs who otherwise would likely have been euthanized.

• We focus on rescuing dogs from parts of the country where this is an especially high number of dogs in need of help, and fewer people to help them. Foster 2 Home rescues dogs from HIGH-KILL SHELTERS in many states from the southern regions.

• Variety is the spice of life, and we feel that way about dogs, too. We make no distinction with regard to a dogs size, shape, age or breed.

• Address the medical needs of each rescued dog. Injuries or illnesses get immediate veterinary attention.

• Heal the spirits of each dog. Emotional nurturing is often as important as physical. That is where our dedicated foster families shine. These families work hard to ease each dog through their initial fright and confusion, readying each for their very own forever family. In foster they are given time to acclimate, time to heal, and time to renew their spirits.

• Match each dog with a deserving family who are eager to provide a lifetime commitment of love, structure, and security. So this dog needs never feel frightened or alone again.

• Then we do it all over again!

Mission Statement:
Foster 2 Home is a registered, non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to finding permanent homes for adoptable dogs. Foster 2 Home provides assistance to loving, adoptive individuals and families, working closely with the adoptive parties to ensure the best transition for and the humane treatment of, all adopted animals. We will strive to educate the public regarding the human and ethical treatment of animals and aim to work in concert with other organizations to make a greater impact on the animal population.
